The Community Locator can be used to find out which FBI, IRS, or federal judicial district a particular community is located in. There are three components to the Community Locator:

• The Fips Finder can be used the ascertain the five-digit Fips code for any county in the United States.
• The District Finder is used to find out which FBI, IRS, or federal judicial district a particular county is located in. In order to use the District Finder you must have the five-digit Fips code for the county you are interested in.
• The City/Place Finder is used to find the GSA code for a particular city or place in the United States. Currently only the Federal Staffing layer uses this code.
