The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) is a nonpartisan data gathering, data research and data distribution organization associated with Syracuse University.

TRAC has designed, constructed, and maintains a data warehouse that provides information of unprecedented accuracy, magnitude, and ease of use.

Site Content:

• a series of special reports focusing on broad issues like terrorism, immigration, civil rights, environmental enforcement, disparity in federal sentencing, tax collection, etc.
• information about the federal government's major investigative agencies: Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, Internal Revenue Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Homeland Security.
• direct access to TRACFED, the data warehouse, via individual Spotlights.

All reports and information are prepared by TRAC's staff from data in the data warehouse.

Most information is provided free of charge as a public service.
